Squeaky Bum Time

The phrase refers to the tense final stages of a league competition or close game, especially from the point of view of the leaders. As far as I’m concerned, it’s the time that makes sports worth reading about. I am a member of the men’s soccer team here, trying my hand on a column, hopefully covering some tense topics that will hold some sort of interest. After the Light Blue my allegiances lie with all of the DC sports teams so I will occasionally show some love to the Skins, Wizards, Caps, Nats, and even United. Above all else though, I’m a Gooner.
