Mitt Romney will not be speaking at Columbia this fall.

He had been slated to Millennium Campus Conference on campus. The conference draws students and advocates from other institutions for discussions and workshops on sustainable development.

Chuck Roberts, CC ’12 and executive director of the conference, said that Romney provided them with a video message and informed us he would be unable to attend last week.

Roberts said that there may be "one or two more huge names" still to come, but they won't know until the last minute.
